Micro- needling (collagen induction therapy)

What is it?

Micro-needling uses needles to puncture the skin in tiny (micro) depths in order to stimulate the body’s natural healing process. The goal of microneedling is to create a controlled injury to the skin, thereby stimulating the body to respond by producing more collagen in the treated area. Hence the name collagen induction therapy. The needles create micro passageways, without damaging the epidermis – this allows 80% more product into the skin, compared to 7-10% normally.
